WELCOME to K.T.S.

Kitty Tooth Salad is an artistic sound project that has been going on in one form or another for over a decade. Formed in mid-2001, KTS is equal part’s an experiment in noise, music and sound collage. It's a riot of organized chaos, peppered doses of Michigan bleakness, moments of going crazy in the northern woods, random noise bursts caught on tape, fits of laughter at one's own expense, feelings of madness and nostalgia for places that don't exist, racing trains of thought, all the while experimenting with the brink of sanity.

Our debut album, “Bar Fight Stories" boasts 2-discs with as many as 28-30 tracks a piece, ranging from snippets of improvised lunacy, epic journeys of ambience, bizarre sketch comedy, and stripped down low-fi anti-folk. It's a frightening and hilarious schizophrenic journey into a world that few of us talk about but many of us are afraid to admit we're aware of. Besides its two founding members, numerous individuals have contributed to KTS in one form or another, either with music, words, or just random noise.
